Linda trained as a Chartered Accountant and worked as a Business Transformation Consultant for KPMG for over ten years before becoming a professional artist and creative agent, using a unique combination of analytical thinking and inventiveness. 

Linda helps individuals and organisations to become life-long creative learners and risk takers and supports them to develop their own creative processes within the constraints of organisational pressures.

Delivering workshops, coachmentoring sessions and seminars, Linda looks at ideas of creativity, inventiveness and processes of ‘letting go’. Linda explores contradictions and notions of the absurd and the ridiculous and questions the sense of self to understand how we create meaning.    By suspending judgement and re-thinking possibilities Linda uses her experience of visual thinking to help people to change perspective, re-frame values and look at what is possible.   

Linda challenges, questions and provokes a deeper level of understanding to open up ideas and raise awareness of how inventiveness combined with analytical thinking can benefit productivity and competitiveness.

Linda trained and worked as a management consultant/chartered accountant for over ten years before deciding to follow her heart and become a professional artist.  Using a unique combination of analytical thinking and inventiveness Linda draws out the potential of children to become life-long creative learners and risk takers. Working with teachers and children to select from a range of media and art based learning, Linda aims to excite and ignite the imagination of children and give them permission to explore and invent.  Linda encourages children to make and learn from mistakes - to let go and discover a world full of possibilities.

A world without barriers, taking time to listen

Educe are pleased to announce that a percentage of income will be donated annually to the International
Deaf Children's Society - a world without barriers for every deaf child.  As part of a programme of on-going research into creative approaches to communication, Educe will look at opportunities to explore visual communication and learning opportunities that address the concerns and interests of people with hearing difficulties.  Visit their website for details of their work at International Deaf Children's Society

an exciting way of working

educe work with business in a number of different ways depending upon the needs and circumstances of each client

exciting ways of working include:

in residence

working as artist in residence to encourage people to explore their own creativity as a means of developing their potential and to improve their communication skills.    

This would typically be for periods of between  two weeks, a month or sometimes for over a year.  As an artist in residence the organisation would provide facilities and space for the artist to work and create their own work.  The artist acts as a means of 'intervention' into the organisation to create the opportunity for a shared dialogue between artist and staff to explore what it means to work in that organisation.  The artist would liase with the organisation to establish any work related workshops that might be insightful to staff based upon the work carried out by the artist.  The workshops for staff would be designed in collaboration with the host organisation and funding agreed.  Typically a two hour workshop would cost £500 plus materials.  This includes preparation time and post workshop reflection.

ONE-to-ONE or GROUP Coaching and Mentoring

educe would work with the organisation using art-based techniques to look at a particular business problem.  Organisations would pay for either a series (typically six sessions) or for a one off event.   Fees for this work would be negotiated on a case by case basis.
